Muukko graded interchange

A new graded interchange will be built in Muukko, removing two level crossings from main road 9. The Partala-Ravattila main road, Lauritsala-Muukko road as well as the Utrasaari local road will be connected to the interchange. The Muukko graded interchange will serve the eastern residential areas of Lappeenranta in the future.

Ground water protection has been built in Muukko area in summer 2008 and in November 2009 the graded interchange opened for traffic.
